It is with great pride and pleasure that I introduce you to the Guam Fire Department. Through the dedication and professionalism of our Fire Fighters, our agency has earned the respect of many fire service agencies in our area and across the country.

The members of the Guam Fire Department proudly serve the citizens of our community and willingly pitch in to protect and serve their friends and neighbors regardless of the situation or the possibility of injury, or even loss of their life.

These firefighters have demonstrated their extraordinary dedication to others through their actions and deeds both on and off duty. The Guam Fire Suppression Units, the Guam Fire Rescue Units, and the Guam Fire Emergency Medical Services Unit are all ways these individuals show their support, compassion and involvement both in the community and to its residents.

As our community transcends into the 21st Century the Guam Fire Department will be expected to assess, adapt and address our community's Fire, Emergency Medical Service, Rescue, Fire Prevention and Public Education needs and develop plans and programs that will efficiently and effectively meet those requirements. The Guam Fire Department, through its ongoing commitment to the community will continue to identify the needs of its customers in an effort to meet those ever changing demands. As the Fire chief I will do my best to ensure that this agency continues to meet and exceed the expectations of the citizens of Guam.
